Hometown Heroes

SMKal • Jul 23, 2022

Our hometown heroes visited BGCU this week - what a great experience for our members.

We are so grateful for our many local heroes that came to visit our Club this week and chat with our Members.  BGCU welcomed Sheriff Matt Kendall, members of Ukiah Police Department, the Fire Department, California Highway Patrol (and "Chip"!), US Army Sergeants Smith & Olmos, Dr. Marvin Trotter and ER Nurse Becca Denou.  Wow, what a week!

And then there was the water.....

Thank you Firefighters!

Members had the chance to see the firetruck up close, watch demonstrations, speak on the bullhorn, and of course - get wet!  Such a fun and exciting day
