1. What can I donate? A: We accept most vehicles and vessels including but not limited to cars, trucks, trailers, boats and RV's. 2. My car hasn't run in years. Can I still donate it? A: Yes, we are able to accept most vehicles running or not (exceptions include some older vehicles whose value would not offset the cost of towing). To find out if we can accept your vehicle 3. What do I need to donate my vehicle? A: We would like the title to the vehicle, but if you do not have it please call us anyway. It is possible that other arrangements may be made. Please call us toll-free at 1-800-237-5714 seven days a week. 4. Can you pick up vehicles in all 50 states? A: Yes, we are able to pick up accepted vehicles in the continental U.S. and Hawaii. 5. How will my car be picked up? A: We will arrange to have your vehicle towed away by a professionally licensed, bonded and insured towing company. 6. How long will it take to pick up my car? A: We will arrange for a towing company to contact you via telephone within three to four business days at the latest. If you need your car picked up sooner, please let us know as we are oftentimes able to accommodate rush orders as well. 7. Is my donation tax deductible? A: Yes, vehicle and vessel donations made to bona fide charitable organizations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. We have verified that all charities listed within this site are classified with the IRS as non-profit charitable organizations. However, individual tax situations vary so please check with a tax professional to determine what if any tax benefit you may receive from a tax deductible donation. 8. How does my tax deduction work? A: The IRS allows you, the taxpayer, to claim a tax deduction of (a) the value of your vehicle up to $500 or (b) if we sell the vehicle for more than $500 we will mail you a completed IRS tax form 1098-C with that value for your tax purposes. 9. How can I contact you to schedule a pick up? A: Please submit our online donation form or call us toll-free seven days a week at 1-800-237-5714. 10. How do I receive my free vacation certificate?A: After your vehicle donation has been picked-up: 1. Call us toll-free at #1-800-237-5714 seven days a week to obtain your ID number, 2. Complete our Vacation Certificate Request Form - your certificate will be mailed to you within a few business days, and 3. YOUR DONATION WILL GO DIRECTLY TO ENSURE THE SAFE POSITIVE PLACE FOR KIDS! The car donation program utilizes cost-per-click advertising to sponsor their web site and make it one of the most visited vehicle donation web sites on the Internet. In order to advertise the web site, there is an additional $65 internet advertising fee charged for every vehicle generated off of that web site. The goal is to minimize the amount of vehicles generated off of the web site and maximize the amount of vehicles that can generate through local low/no cost marketing efforts. By filling out the form and faxing or mailing it in, you will be helping BGCU keep costs down.

Hero Club Opportunities!! WHY YOU SHOULD BECOME A CLUB MEMBER This is an incredible marketing opportunity for your company. There will be: Make an investment in the youth of our community Did you know… HOW YOU CAN BE INVOLVED The Gold Club – $500 Each company that becomes a member of the Gold Club will receive a membership plaque to hang up in their place of business. Your company’s name will also adorn a special plaque for Gold Members, which will hang in the foyer of the Clubhouse at the Alex Rorabaugh Center (ARC). Your company’s generosity will be acknowledged to the hundreds of people that visit the ARC each day. As an additional benefit, each company’s profile will be placed on our website as a Gold Club Member, and a link will be created to take them to your website. Your company’s name will adorn a special plaque for Silver Members which will hang in the foyer of the Clubhouse at the Alex Rorabaugh Center (ARC). Each company that becomes a member of the Silver Club will receive a membership plaque to hang up in their place of business. Your company’s generosity will be acknowledged to the hundreds of people that visit the ARC on a daily basis. The Bronze Club - $100 Each company becoming a member of the Bronze Club receives a membership plaque to hang up in their place of business. Your company’s name will also be etched on a plaque for Bronze Members which will hang in the foyer of the Clubhouse at the Alex Rorabaugh Center (ARC). Your company’s generosity will be acknowledged to the hundreds of people that visit the ARC on a daily basis. |
