Boys and Girls Club
of Ukiah
After School Program Monday ~ Friday directly after school until 6:30 p.m. ~ some holidays excluded ~ If you are interested in your child attending The Club's after school program - check out the Five Core Program Areas we work with and in. We have space for your child! We welcome members from all over our community. Ages 5 through 18 years. Unfortunately there is no busing from Frank Zeek Yokayo Oak Manor Redwood Valley Calpella BGClub continues to work on obtaining transport from these schools. Boys & Girls Club is working with Ukiah Unified School District to identify solutions for the transportation needs of our members. If you have any suggestions or comments please feel free to contact us. If your child attended the Club over the summer, they are current members. To become a Club Member please see the home page for the link to our registration packet. Fill it out and bring it down to the Club along with your $30 membership fee. For payment arrangements please contact Liz @ 467-4900 X 103 Feel free to phone the Club with any questions or concerns you may have @ 707.467.4900 X 103. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Since 1994 Boys & Girls Club of Ukiah has been providing the youth in our community with a safe, fun and supervised environment to come and participate in positive daily activities each day after school and most holidays. Every day, Boys & Girls Club of Ukiah strive to improve each child's life by implementing self-esteem, courage, and positive values through our many educational programs. Our youth come to the Boys & Girls Clubs to receive tutoring, computer training, homework help, and mentoring. By attending our programs, our youth gain confidence and develop a sense of usefulness and belonging. Our club staff is dedicated, through our 'Youth Development Strategy', to our mission of inspiring and enabling all youth to reach their full potential and to become caring and responsible adults.
We believe our Club is 'The Positive Place for Kids'. On an average day, we serve over 100 young people.
Our programs include:
By providing recreation, cultural and physical education, leadership development, and personal adjustment and enrichment programs, our Clubs offer an alternative to the streets and a safe place for children to go after school.
